About Ivy Chin

Leadership at the Moment
of Becoming.

For leaders navigating complexity, change, and responsibility, Ivy Chin creates space to see clearly, think deeply, and step into a greater level of impact across business and life.

The Ivy Difference

Most advisors advise. Most coaches listen. Most speakers inspire. Most professors teach.

Ivy Chin integrates all of them because she has lived all of it. For more than three decades, Ivy has been inside the moments that define leaders and organizations: when the stakes are high, the path is unclear, and the cost of getting it wrong is real. She has carried the weight of enterprise decisions, led transformation at global scale, and operated at the intersection of strategy, technology, people, and performance.

As former Chief Digital and Technology Officer of Sherwin-Williams, a Fortune 200 company, Ivy led global transformation across 10 businesses and more than 1,500 technology professionals. She advised the CEO, CFO, and board, guided major investment decisions, initiated a 39 ERP consolidation program with early deployments, and built enterprise technology capability and operational discipline to support growth while managing cost.

Earlier, as CDTO of American Tire Distributors, she stabilized direction during a period of pressure, reduced technology spend by 26 percent, and improved both financial and customer outcomes.

At Belk, she led eCommerce with full P&L responsibility, delivering 69%, 108%, and 87% consecutive sales growth. Across her career at PetSmart, Belk, and QVC, she developed a deep understanding of how businesses create value and how leaders make decisions that shape outcomes.

This is what makes Ivy different.

She does not work from theory. She works from lived truth. She sees beyond strategy into the patterns and assumptions that drive behavior and results, and she translates them into proven, repeatable frameworks that have been tested across industries and leadership contexts.

Her mission is to unlock the potential of leaders and organizations, ignite breakthroughs, and elevate leadership to create lasting impact for business and the people it serves.

She works with CEOs, senior executives, founders, boards, and high potential leaders. Whether advising, coaching, speaking, or teaching, she helps leaders see clearly, decide confidently, and lead in ways that endure.

Clients experience Ivy as both grounding and catalytic. She creates the conditions for meaningful breakthrough, where insight turns into action and potential becomes impact.
